I hope you enjoyed watching our Fashion Film PARALLAX.
Parallax film has been one of my favorite creations yet as a Director/Cinematographer because I had an adventure to explore with light, color and shadow to create versatility into image looks and bring a unique feeling to scene-by-scene that would complement the clothing but impact the viewer. I just wanted to say a big thank you to (Lucas Dudley and Lubomir Jordan) the Creative Directors & Producers of Parallax for pursuing me at the beginning for their Senior Project, and for a wonderful experience through the whole collaborative process.
About the film:
The idea behind our film PARALLAX is an abstract way to combine the concept of style and how people are perceived differently based on exterior. — People will see whatever they want to see.

I recently shot this pre-wedding film in Victoria B.C. with Inderpaul Kandola with Seattle Dream Productions. We liked how the edit came together. We color graded in DaVinci Resolve to find the look we wanted. I think grading the imagery in projects like this on is highly important because you get a dynamic picture from how it was shot in camera on 5D mkIII which has a lot of room and information to play with and at the end result you preserve the tonality image which looks cleaner especially on skin tones, sharper, pops out from the original picture before graded.

Last Winter I produced and shot 8 videos for a local Ski & Snowboard Outerwear startup company called NorthWest Tech for my college senior project. I honestly can’t believe I did all these videos during Quarter 3 of Senior Project. It was hard work but honestly it didn’t feel like it was during the time, I was my drive, passions and the love for what I do that got me through it. And no matter what the situation is I try to give it my best 110% while I create in filmmaking or photography. Check out the website to see other videos I shot for NWT3K @ http://nwt3k.com/outerwear/custom-snowboard-jackets
I wanted to share this video today, because I was reflecting on last year when I was on my last few quarters of school which was seriously the best experiences I had during all 5 years of college. Thank you Nick Marvik for giving me a great opportunity!
